Remembering Tanya Reinhart:
The Israeli linguist, author and peace activist Tanya Reinhart has died of a stroke at the age of sixty-three. Reinhart was one of the most outspoken critics of Israeli government policies and one of Israel's leading advocates for Palestinian national rights. That was truly a shock! I just found that her articles have been archived at Dissident Voice, which is simply great. [As an aside, I have started keeping track of the other dissident voices at this page for anyone interested in listening to them.]
